How To Add Music EQ Equalizer to All Tabs in Chrome

Traditionally speaking, an equalizer is a circuit or equipment used to adjust the balance between frequency components within an electronic signal, often used in sound recording and reproduction. In modern days, a software version of it exists almost in every app that plays music, regardless of which platform they are used. Whether it’s a music app on iPhone, an old-school nerd’s love Winamp, or Spotify app on your desktop, EQ is almost always the built-in function for anyone who is enjoying manipulating the sound of the music to satisfy their own ears.

But you just can’t find such a think in any of the browsers that are fully capable of playing any kinds of music. Sounds ridiculous, especially when music web players are all over the place on the web, YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, etc.

Ears: Bass Boost, EQ Any Audio! is a Chrome extension that enables EQ on every tab you open in Chrome, letting you have your own a music equalizer for any website that plays music. Simply go to the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome button to install the extension to your Chrome browser.

Now, when you are on a web page that plays music like YouTube, you can click the EQ button in the Extension bar to bring up the EQ window.

If all you need is to boost the bass of the sound, just click Bass Boost button. But if you want to more than that, you can start dragging the dots on the window to make your own preset. You can save your creative work by clicking Save Preset or Delete one saved earlier. Reset Filters lets you go start from scratch again.

There is no right or wrong when making your own EQ preset. Whatever makes your ear comfortable is what you should be aiming for. Enjoy.
