How To Get Home Button Back in Microsoft Edge

Home Button is one of the badly missed features in Microsoft Edge when it’s first released in code name Spartan. But fortunately, Microsoft has listened to the feedback left by many of customers and has put it back lately.

However, to keep the main interface simple and clean, the Home button is turned off by default but can be turned back on in a setting buried in lots of advanced settings sidebar. And it can be set up as you very own home button to display whatever you want it to display.

1. Click  at the top right corner to bring up the Settings sidebar.

2. Scroll to the bottom and click View advanced settings button.

3. Then the first setting appeared is the Show the home button, which is off by default. Click the toggle button to switch it on/off. When it’s on, you can even select one of the 3 options for what kind of content you want to display when clicked, Start page, New tab page, or A specific page.

That’s about it.
