How To Turn On/Off Page Prediction Option in Microsoft Edge

Behind the scene, Microsoft Edge has a prediction service that displays a list of related matches and search queries when you type in the address bar. The main purpose of using such a service is to speed up browsing and improve reading to have a better user experience. However, if it bothers you, here is how you can disable it.

Click  and go to Settings in Edge. Scroll down to the bottom and click View advanced settings. Again, scroll down to the bottom and toggle the option “Use page prediction to speed up browsing, …” on or off.

The setting saves automatically. And you will not see suggested sites, search query next time when you type in the address bar.
