Read it Later released their official Save to Pocket Extension for Microsoft Edge last week. If you are a Windows Insider running the latest Windows 10 built released in the Fast ring, you will be able to try out this very new extension, as well as quite a few others.
With the Save to Pocket extension, users can save articles or any other web pages to Pocket web service to view them later in a much neat and clean layout. They are also synced to the Pocket App on your other devices as well so you can view them at any time, even without an internet connection.
To install Save to Pocket extension on Microsoft Edge, click this Extension link which takes you to the extension page in Store app. Simply click Free to install it. The Store app is smart enough to know to install it in Microsoft Edge as an extension. You will get a notification inside the Edge browser letting you know that you have a new extension installed. Click Turn On button to enable the extension.
Sign in your account in Pocket or sign up one if you haven’t, and you are all set. By default, it’s listed under … menu. When its icon shows in red, it means the current web page is already saved in Pocket.
To make it easy to access, you can also make the icon show up right next to the address bar. To do that, click … to open up the Settings menu, right-click Save to Pocket extension and choose Manage. Then turn on the option “Show button next to the address bar“.
