Google Drive Web Now Supports Drag and Drop Files for Instant Upload

Not anymore, with a new update released on Nov. 20, 2015, you can now simply drag a file, a bunch of files, or even an entire folder from your local computer directly into any Google Drive’s folders or subfolders. Files or folders will get uploaded to the Drive immediately.

Note that in order to get this cool new feature to work, you will need the latest versions of Chrome or Firefox. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work on Microsoft Edge at the moment.
