How To Enable Google Voice Search in Chrome Like Cortana in Microsoft Edge

One of the fascinating features in Microsoft Edge is the integration of the voice-activated search assistant, Cortana. But unfortunately Microsoft, Google also has “OK, Google“, also the voice-activated search, not only Chrome but also for iPhone/iPad and Android as well.

To activate “OK, Google” in Chrome, click Chrome Menu unnamed, go to Settings. Then in the Search section, check the option “Enable “OK Google” to start a voice search“.

Settings - OK Google

If there is a yellow warning sign like above, that means you either don’t have microphone on your computer or the microphone isn’t configured properly.

Once everything is all set, you will start using the voice search either on google.com or a new tab that has Google’s search embedded.
